Ukraine became just one of many countries affected by the large-scale expansion of the application into new markets, because together with our country, the application became available in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Switzerland, Greece, Romania, Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia.
Previously, the Apple Sports extension was only available to users in a small number of countries — the US, UK, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and Austria.
Launched in February 2024, Apple Sports provides its users with the ability to follow key sports information, including game scores, detailed statistics, and match and tournament schedules.
The company notes in the App Store that app features may vary by country, region, or device, and that Apple Sports is available for all iPhone models with iOS 17.2 or later.
As dev.ua wrote, Apple is reducing App Store commissions from 30% to 15% for mini-app developers, provided they participate in the new Mini Apps Partner Program.
