About ISE
ISE Group (short for Innovation, Startups, Entrepreneurship) is an innovation accelerator and ecosystem developer founded in 2018. It has offices in Kyiv, Warsaw, and Washington. ISE Group consists of ISE Corporate Accelerator and ISE Think Tank.
ISE Corporate Accelerator helps startups and scaleups secure investment, establish strategic partnerships, and enter international markets. The portfolio includes over 90 active companies.
ISE Think Tank is an analytical center that has prepared over 50 studies and market analyses.
Ukrainian-American IT companies are engaged in custom software development and data platforms, cloud integration, DevOps, development of AI/machine learning solutions, and product engineering.
Many companies operate on a transnational model: client departments are located in the USA, while engineering hubs are located in Kyiv, Lviv, or other large cities in Ukraine.
These 2,270 companies provide 300,000 jobs, 130,300 of which are in the IT sector, which pays $11.6 billion in wages per year or an average of $44.36 per hour.
Additionally, in the tech sector, labor costs average about 50% of revenue. So, given the $11.6 billion annual payroll for IT companies, that could mean about $23.2 billion in annual revenue from the tech sector alone.
Overall, Ukrainian-American businesses generate about $55–58 billion in total annual revenue in the United States.
The annual net profit of Ukrainian-American companies is $5.1 billion, of which again the largest share is accounted for by IT — $2.8–3.0 billion.
