In Ukraine, a DOT.map project has been created with an interactive archive of the events of the Russian full-scale invasion. It already has a website and will soon receive a mobile application.
DOT.map displays dots on a geographic map, where each dot represents an event in the Russian-Ukrainian war with a specific date. Users can click on a dot to learn more about the event.
«The idea arose a year ago, when I realized: finding the truth in the news stream is becoming impossible. Information is getting lost, videos are disappearing… This is not just a website — it is an independent memory tool,» said the developer of DOT.map.
In February of this year, his archive covered the events of 2022–2026 and had about 150 events on the map and more than a gigabyte of photo and video material. Later, the author of the project decided to create not only a web version, but also a mobile application.

«We are going beyond the browser. Right now, work is underway on the first APK build to make the map even more convenient on your smartphone,» the developer explained.
According to him, the map in the application will stop «hanging» because it «works faster than any browser.»
In March, the author of DOT.map reported that the application had already passed moderation on Google Play, but needed testers to be released to the public.
