DroneUA, a Ukrainian company offering UAV and robotics solutions, has opened its first office in London. This is the company’s third overseas office.
This was announced by DroneUA founder Valeriy Yakovenko. «From today, the sun will officially never set on DroneUA. We have opened the first representative office in the UK!», he wrote on his Facebook.
According to him, they decided to open the office here because, among all European partners, «Britain best understands the role of Ukrainian engineers in the development of modern technologies.» DroneUA’s London office is located in the Knightsbridge district.
«This is an economy that adapts quickly, supports innovation, and looks to the future — just like us. Our American office is now joined by a British one, and this is another step in the globalization of Ukrainian business and technology,» said Valeriy Yakovenko.
DroneUA began operating in the North American market in 2023 with Yakovenko’s startup FarmFleet and Futurology, which represents DroneUA in the USA.
«We decided to develop business on the American continent, building bridges between the USA and Ukraine. This happened simultaneously with receiving investment in FarmFleet and launching Futurology. FarmFleet spreads Ukrainian agricultural experience to the global market, and Futurology creates a base for the future expansion of Ukrainian innovations and robotics,» said Valeriy Yakovenko.
Now DroneUA reports that they have decided to expand their operational presence in the European market, where «high standards, complex tasks, and openness to autonomous solutions are part of the business culture.»
«Who knows in which country or on which continent you will soon see DroneUA,» the company’s future offices teased.
It was previously reported that DroneUA will supply robots to NASA. The first test devices have gone to the US state of Virginia, where they will be used at one of the agency’s units.
