The Ministry of Defense has codified and approved the use of NORD unmanned aerial systems in units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. What makes them special?
The Main Directorate for Lifecycle Support of Armaments and Military Equipment noted that NORD drones from the Ukrainian manufacturer have such advantages as compactness and maneuverability.
These UAVs have an improved control system installed, which provides better communication between the operator and the drone in the conditions of operation of electronic warfare equipment.
NORD drones also have carbon frames in several sizes. They are capable of speeds of up to 150 kilometers per hour with a combat load of several kilograms.
Recall that the Ministry of Defense also codified and allowed the «Witcher» drone to be operated in the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is a high-speed UAV capable of catching up with enemy wheeled vehicles.
The Ministry of Defense previously approved the use of ZEUS and HADES FPV drones from the Ukrainian company SkyForce in the Armed Forces. The company produces a number of FPV drones of various sizes and capabilities, named after the Olympic gods.
