"I am happy that I managed to build a product organization from scratch with a great team according to the best standards within a huge (in my opinion, the best in Ukraine) corporation. I did much more than I planned, but of course less than I would like - there are always more ideas," Mykhailo Nestor wrote on Facebook. He added that he was "120% satisfied with this stage."
In December 2022, the mobile operator Kyivstar announced the opening of a new business Kyivstar.Tech - an IT company focused on developing communication technologies. Mykhailo Nestor took the position of Director of Digital Product Development. As of August 2025, the team consisted of about 500 specialists. It is Kyivstar.Tech that is creating the Ukrainian national large-scale language model.
