Starting today, an automated procedure for submitting documents for notary services at all embassies and consulates of Ukraine has become available to Ukrainians abroad.
This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs' information and communication system "e-Consul" was initially put into operation in stages from July 1. Today, August 20, the system became fully operational.
Now, Ukrainians abroad can submit information and documents electronically through the applicant's electronic account "e-Consul" at all 120 foreign diplomatic institutions that provide consular services.
Citizens can, at a convenient time for them:
submit an online application for a notarial act;
download a sample of the required power of attorney or notarial statement;
upload all necessary documents.
"Now, all procedures for submitting and processing documents can be carried out without a prior physical visit to the diplomatic mission. After online submission, only a short visit remains to receive the finished document, which significantly saves citizens' time and resources," the ministry noted.
