Elon Musk's AI got into a sex scandal: Grok started "undressing" children in photos
Musk said that the problem has already been identified and is working on an urgent fix. He stressed that the creation of any material related to the sexual exploitation of children is illegal and strictly prohibited.

The Grok chatbot, developed by Elon Musk's xAI company, has officially acknowledged the existence of serious flaws in its security mechanisms. The service's official page on the social network X (Twitter) reported that technical failures in filtering algorithms led to the generation of images that show "minors in minimal clothing."
The scandal erupted after users began massively sharing screenshots where Grok carried out requests to edit uploaded photos, actually stripping people naked in the pictures or adding revealing clothing to them.
The situation has already sparked an immediate reaction from regulators. The French government has classified the generated content as manifestly illegal and in violation of the EU's Digital Services Act (DSA), threatening the companies with serious sanctions.
In parallel, India's Ministry of Information Technology has demanded that the X platform provide a report on the measures taken, accusing the service of failing to prevent the spread of obscene content.
The Malaysian authorities expressed their indignation and launched an investigation against the social network X.
Musk said that the platform takes action against illegal content, particularly related to children, by removing it, permanently blocking accounts, and cooperating with official authorities when necessary.
"Anyone who uses Grok to create illegal content will face the same consequences as those who upload illegal content," he noted in the post.
This isn't the first time a chatbot has been caught sexualizing children. Previously, Grok asked a 12-year-old boy to send him nude photos while chatting about football.
