The Ministry of Defense reported that the project is being created within the framework of the CDTO Campus to train IT, analytics, and management specialists who will accelerate the digitalization of units. The faculty is part of the new Digital Transformation Structure.
"Our task is to ensure that this entire new structure, all two thousand people, are charged with one idea, the same goals. We must provide the tools for this and achieve the goal synchronously," said Oksana Ferchuk, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine for Digital Development, Digital Transformations, and Digitalization, at the opening of the faculty.
The faculty of the Digital Transformation Faculty is staffed by military and civilian experts from the defense sector. The recruitment process is closed: first, a specialist is appointed to a position in the digital transformation structure, then he is nominated by his immediate supervisor.

Earlier, Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov spoke about the formation of an IT vertical and the opening of over 2,000 vacancies for specialists who will implement digital products in the Armed Forces of Ukraine . According to him, the IT vertical will allow for faster implementation of solutions, receive high-quality feedback from the battlefield, and scale effective tools.
