Ukrainian-Estonian company Farsight Vision has announced the expansion of its team and the opening of a number of vacancies for IT specialists. In particular, the startup is looking for computer vision engineers to develop its FSV Platform, which recently received the function of fast real-time object detection directly during the flight of drones.

As company representatives told DOU, due to the scaling of the project, a permanent search for CV engineers for remote work is currently underway. These specialists will work on artificial intelligence algorithms that help create 3D terrain models from aerial photographs, optimize data processing speed, and integrate new functions for the military.
Candidates for the position of Computer Vision Engineer are expected to have practical experience in the field of CV or 3D reconstruction. It is necessary to be proficient in the programming languages Python and C++, know PyTorch, CUDA, as well as modern technologies of photogrammetry and 3D data processing. A significant advantage during the selection will be working with OpenGL, Vulkan, WebGPU, GIS systems or previous experience in drone projects. The selection consists of a resume analysis, completion of a test task and an interview with the technical team.
In addition to CV specialists, the Farsight Vision team is looking for VR/XR engineers, Robotics Software Engineers, Senior Python developers, and a Project Manager for VR/Android. Since the platform’s solutions are used by the Ukrainian Defense Forces directly on the front lines, a mandatory condition for employment is passing a detailed security check and the absence of any ties to Russia, Belarus, or temporarily occupied territories.
The developers have been developing the computer vision direction for about 2.5 years and are currently actively integrating AI algorithms with the Ukrainian battle management systems «Delta», «Kropyva», and ATAK.
Farsight Vision previously launched a new feature on the FSV Platform — real-time object detection from a video stream. Thanks to artificial intelligence, the system automatically detects and analyzes more than 30 types of objects, including personnel, vehicles, antennas, and tracks of wheeled and tracked vehicles.
