Fedorov to the deputies: "Everyone should do as I do - according to their conscience. Where are your balls to say what the real problem is?"

Acting Minister of Defense Mikhail Fedorov, during his briefing, refrained from making specific requests and recommendations to the people’s deputies, simply urging them to act «according to their conscience.»
He said this while answering a question from MP Mykola Kniazhytskyi, who was also present at the briefing along with other MPs.
«Everyone should do as I do — according to their conscience. Don’t be afraid that there will be any problems with law enforcement, or any pressure, or that someone won’t take someone with them for hookah,» said Fedorov, explaining how, in his opinion, people’s deputies should act in the current situation.
He added that in the teams he built, everyone united around shared values, based on which they made their decisions, without asking him what they should do.
In addition, he stated that as a representative of the president’s team, he did not allow himself to express an opinion on many issues, but now the situation has changed.
«Today I killed myself and was born again. For 7 years I served the Ukrainian people in the president’s team, did many different things, but sometimes I didn’t even say what I thought, because I understood that first of all — the team. But today — this is not my issue and not the president’s, because we are simply managers elected by the people,» Fedorov emphasized.
Fedorov also asked the people’s deputies present whether they were satisfied with the lack of independent institutions and what was happening in the army.
«I act according to my conscience and I will not be ashamed, so my message to the deputies is that you are satisfied with the lack of a large number of independent institutions? It suits you — ok. If you want to make them independent — go out and do it! You are not satisfied with the fact that there is no real civilian control over the army — propose a constructive one, only without tribunes and shouts about the Central Military Commission, Central Military Commission, Central Military Commission. Where are your balls to say what the real problem is? Tell me about the assault units, about the lack of transfers, about the division of money, tell me who is effective and who is ineffective. People are dying for freedom, and here on Bankova or Hrushevskoho Street we cannot say what we really believe or do not believe in. I have crossed this line for myself,» said Fedorov.
Recall that today, during a briefing, Mykhailo Fedorov also shared information that he was forced to stop multi-million dollar international contracts that provided for the purchase of foreign weapons, which are currently in surplus or irrelevant on the battlefield.
«Doing things with a bunch of restrictions that give you the opportunity to start defeating the enemy? Well, then you’re the f**k out of the position of minister.» What do entrepreneurs, volunteers, and public figures think about Fedorov’s dismissal from the Ministry of Defense
