The letters are received with the subject "Request for documents from the Main Directorate of the State Tax Service of Ukraine: *NAME OF ORGANIZATION*" and an attachment in the form of a PDF file, the State Tax Service reports .
They contain a link to the service where the JS script "Request of the Main Directorate of the State Tax Service of Ukraine SED 22.05.2025- 0048811.pdf.js" is located. Going to it leads to downloading and launching software for remote control of users' computers.
The Tax Service reminds that all official DTS email addresses must contain this domain name "tax.gov.ua" after the "@" symbol.
