Kyivstar continues to look for companies to acquire in the areas e-commerce and fintech.
«We work with many targets, but not many interesting ones,» said Kyivstar CEO Oleksandr Komarov in an interview with LIGA.net.
According to him, potential deals are currently in various stages, but none of them are close enough to completion for the company to talk about.
At the same time, the top manager noted, e-commerce and fintech are not Kyivstar’s main priority in M&A.
Number one, according to him, is fixed line and telecom infrastructure. The second direction is building a digital system around the group’s businesses. The third is alternative energy.
After acquiring Helsi, Uklon, and Tabletki.ua, Kyivstar is gradually transforming from a mobile operator into a diversified digital group. Komarov does not rule out new deals if the company sees a business that can strengthen this ecosystem.
