In addition to the Flamingo TM itself, the Ukrainian company also applied for the Pelican brand.
Recall that in March, the co-owner and chief designer of Fire Point, Denis Shtilerman, spoke about the production and testing of FP-7 ballistic missiles. According to him, FP-7 is an analogue of the American ATACMS missile, but half the price. The missile is based on the S-300, and its range is 250–300 km.
The name «Pelican» is planned for the FP-7 ballistic missile.
And by the end of the year, the company is to introduce another FP-9 ballistic missile with a range of up to 850 km.
FIRE POINT has also filed an application for the Peace Dove brand. It is not yet known for which development this name will be used.
Let us also recall that the Ukrainian developer is also working on its own air defense system. The company says that they want to make a cheaper alternative to the American Patriot. This was told by Fire Point co-founder and chief designer Denis Shtilerman to Reuters.
