Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Flash has been working directly on the front lines, training troops in the hottest spots. His expertise includes radio communications, electronic warfare, and intelligence. He was the first to report on the Russians' use of FPV drones with machine vision and jet fighters.
According to Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, Flash’s main focus now is systemic solutions against enemy strike and reconnaissance UAVs to reduce the effectiveness of attacks and protect our military.
In addition, the advisor will work on other technological areas of defense, in particular, he will work with captured enemy equipment (analysis, logistics, studying enemy solutions and turning this experience to his own advantage) and will provide an expert assessment of new military developments (priority given to solutions that actually work in combat, not «ideas on paper»).
Flash confirms that he has accepted the Secretary of Defense’s offer to become an advisor and will work to increase the speed and efficiency of technological solutions.
«Modern warfare is a war of minds and technologies. All this time, in many directions, we have not been ahead of the enemy, but have been trailing behind him. Bureaucracy and the interests of individual structures have prevented dynamic development. Now this is changing. I am beginning to fulfill my duties with joy and optimism,» said Flash.
The Ministry of Defense emphasizes: the development of electronic warfare and technological solutions is critically important, because in modern warfare, the winner is the one who adapts faster and implements effective innovations.
As a reminder, earlier Mykhailo Fedorov appointed Serhiy Sternenko as an advisor on increasing the use of UAVs at the front. Former Deputy Minister of Defense Valeria Ionan also became his advisor.
