Serhiy «Flash» published the personnel decision on his Telegram channel. He added that he will no longer be able to assist Ukrainian developers, military personnel, and manufacturers directly at the defense ministry level.
In his address, Beskrestnov expressed regret over the inability to complete the initiatives he had started. «I cannot talk about my personal challenges and projects that I will not be able to complete now. Someone has to continue working on them. The war continues,» he wrote.
The former adviser noted that working at the ministry gave him access to analytical systems to assess the enemy’s actions at the front. «I had a lot of access to different systems, and I could analyze the actions of our enemy. Predict his next steps. I won’t be able to do that anymore,» Beskrestnov added.
Despite his dismissal, the expert plans to continue his work in the defense sector and help the Ukrainian army. He also emphasized that the news of his departure caused joy in the enemy’s publics, but this will not stop his work outside the department. At the end of the post, Beskrestnov thanked Mikhail Fedorov for the joint work.
Sergey «Flash» Beskrestnov was appointed as a non-staff advisor to the Minister of Defense on technological areas in January 2026. He was responsible for the development of electronic warfare systems, communications and analysis of technological solutions of the Russian Federation. The termination of his work as an advisor to the Minister of Defense was also announced by volunteer and activist Sergey Sternenko.
Recall that yesterday, Mykhailo Fedorov announced that he was leaving the post of Minister of Defense of Ukraine and published a farewell post in which he summed up his work. According to him, during his tenure, the team managed to implement a number of reforms and projects in the field of defense technologies, procurement, international cooperation, and the development of the Ukrainian defense industry.
