The feature is powered by Nvidia’s GeForce Now cloud gaming service and provides two 30-minute trial sessions per week to Discord users who don’t have Fortnite installed on their computers, The Verge reports.
The Fortnite demo will be available until October 30th, with sessions updated every Tuesday. To access it, you need to follow the link on the Epic announcement page, which will redirect you to Discord.
Currently, this option is only available to PC players in the US, UK, Mexico, Canada, and some European countries. In Ukraine, Discord is giving an error when trying to launch the demo.

Interestingly, The Verge journalists from the UK were also unable to launch the game on Discord without using a VPN that connected to the US.
Fortnite is not required to play the demo, but users must be registered with both Discord and Epic Games to get the trial. The game is free to play, so the offer is primarily aimed at players who don’t want to download about 80 GB to try out the project.
The Fortnite demo integration is Nvidia and Discord’s first such experiment with instant game demos, which could allow Discord users to quickly try out other games in the future.
