Ukrainian developer Yevhen K. introduced the Fun Calendar mobile application for iPhone, which offers users a new reason to celebrate every day — from World Chocolate Day to Introverts' Day or International Kissing Day.
«I created the iOS app Fun Calendar — a calendar that looks for a reason for you to smile or celebrate something every day. Today could be International Hugging Day, and tomorrow could be Official Lazy Day or Ice Cream Day,» the project’s author wrote in Threads.
The app features over 365 themed holidays — one for every day of the year. In addition to the calendar, users can take daily themed quizzes, unlock achievements, accumulate streaks, search for any holiday by name, and add their own events to the calendar.
Among the holidays already included in the application are World Chocolate Day, International Cat Day, Pi Day, National Taco Day, World Sunglasses Day, and dozens of other international and informal dates.
The developer also launched a separate blog site, which he plans to gradually fill with materials about various holidays and interesting facts related to them.
Fun Calendar shows a new holiday every day; contains over 365 international and unofficial holidays; offers daily quizzes; allows you to accumulate streaks and unlock achievements; supports searching for any holiday; allows you to add your own events to the calendar.
Now Fun Calendar is only available for iOS.
