Ukrainian drone manufacturer General Chereshnya became the first company to successfully fulfill an order for drones through the DOT-Chain Defence marketplace.
"The drones are already in the military unit, they have been checked, they meet the request. From order to shipment to the defenders - 8 days," the manufacturer reported on its Facebook page.
The company currently has six more orders through this platform and is working to fulfill them quickly.
Recently, dev.ua reported on how the DOT-Chain Defence weapons marketplace works . It is noted that the first 10 brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be able to order FPV drones through the IT system of the State Logistics Operator for UAH 1 billion.
According to the Ministry of Defense, the project already includes manufacturers such as Escadrone, TAF Drones, Vyriy Drone, as well as a number of smaller companies, including those operating under the General Chereshnya and Grif brands. All of them are integrated into the platform and have passed the state contracting procedure.
Currently, the defense company General Chereshnya plans to end 2025 with a turnover of UAH 7 billion. This is 10 times more than a year earlier. The manufacturer currently produces over 50,000 FPV drones per month and is in talks with international investors to raise capital.
