Ukrainian car-sharing service Getmancar has launched in three German and five Romanian cities. Users of the service can rent cars by the day and drive throughout the European Union.

In Germany, Getmancar is available in Berlin, Frankfurt am Main and Munich. The German fleet currently has up to 50 cars, including premium models costing around 80,000 euros.
Users can also rent cargo vans, such as the Mercedes 114 and Renault Master. Car rental prices in Germany start at $28.55 per day.
Getmancar started operating in Romania at the end of May. The service is available in Bucharest, Constanta, Brasov, Bacău and Sibiu. Getmancar’s local fleet consists of about 200 cars, and rental prices start at $35.10 per day.
«Unlike the car-sharing model in Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia, in Germany and Romania the company operates according to the scheme of regular car rental. Another feature is that users can drive rented cars throughout the EU. If the driver returns the car in the same city where he rented it, no additional payment is charged,» the company explains.
If the user leaves the car in German or Romanian cities where Getmancar is not available, he also pays an additional fee.
Getmancar is a Ukrainian car sharing service founded by Taras Getmansky in 2017. The company’s head office is located in Dnipro.
Economic Truth reported that until 2020, Getmancar developed mainly due to its own investments. At that time, about $4 million was invested in the company. And in 2021, this amount exceeded $5 million.
In 2024, Getmancar launched in Moldova. Previously, it worked in Kyiv, Dnipro, and also in Sakartvelo (Georgia). In the winter of 2025, the list of Ukrainian cities where the service is available was supplemented by Lviv .
