Getmancar rental is available in five cities in Cyprus - Larnaca, Limassol, Paphos, Nicosia and Ayia Napa. The main hub is Larnaca. Most of the cars are concentrated there and the company has a local office. Cars can also be delivered to other cities by prior arrangement.
The company says it plans to add new cars every month and eventually make the Cyprus fleet the largest among its overseas markets. The service is also attracting investment to further expand.
"In Cyprus, public transport is poorly developed, taxis are expensive, and the cities - Larnaca, Limassol, Paphos, Ayia Napa - are located at a great distance from each other. Having assessed the potential of car rental, we decided to enter this market with our own fleet and a local team," said Taras Getmansky, CEO of Getmancar.
The company is initially targeting tourists and expats. According to official Cyprus statistics, 4.53 million tourists visited the island in 2025, a 12.2% increase from the previous year. Getmancar currently offers car rentals in Ukraine, Georgia, Moldova, Germany, Romania, Qatar, Egypt and Cyprus.
Previously, dev.ua wrote that Getmancar entered the markets of Romania and Germany, and later launched in Qatar.
