Japanese corporation Hitachi has announced plans to establish a new global digital services company, Hitachi Digital Inc., on April 1, 2027. It will include GlobalLogic Inc., one of the largest employers in the Ukrainian IT industry, as well as Hitachi Digital Services LLC. The corresponding rebranding campaign is starting now.

The new structure will unite about 35,000 professionals in 27 countries and more than 880 active customers. It will focus on digital transformation of enterprises at the intersection of cloud technologies, data and artificial intelligence. Key service areas include Physical AI, data and analytics, cloud services, site reliability engineering (SRE) and enterprise applications.
“Our customers need a single partner who understands how the industry works, maintains close ties to the technology ecosystem, while developing innovations, modernizing core systems and ensuring the smooth operation of the entire enterprise,” said Anand Birje, CEO and Chairman of Hitachi Digital.
The new structure will accelerate the implementation of both enterprise and physical AI in manufacturing, mobility and energy. According to the company, synergy revenue from the collaboration between these units with Hitachi Group in the first half of the year has already increased by 46% compared to the same period last year.
Hitachi acquired GlobalLogic in 2021 for $9.6 billion. For the Ukrainian IT market, GlobalLogic remains one of the largest employers with thousands of local professionals.
