Google has announced the large-scale implementation of its advanced AI image generator Gemini 2.5 Flash Image, known unofficially as Nano Banana, into the company's key products.
Gemini 2.5 Flash Image has created over 5 billion images since its launch in August, and is now available in Google Search, Lens, and NotebookLM. The company announced the update on its blog.
As a next step, Google plans to add Nano Banana to the Google Photos app in the coming weeks, expanding the capabilities for editing and visually transforming personal photos.
