As reported by Russian media, complaints about the problems were recorded by the monitoring services "Sboy.rf" and Downdetector. They come from Moscow and St. Petersburg, among others.
"It seems that Google, GitHub, and Apple have been blocked in the Russian Federation. The fact that this is not some kind of failure is evidenced by the simultaneous inaccessibility and the indication that these are network failures," the profile Russian Telegram channel Heraks noted.
The cause of the outages is currently unknown. Roskomnadzor has officially denied any restrictions on Google, GitHub, and Apple services.
At around 12:05 Moscow time, users began to massively report that access had been restored, and the statistics of network failures, according to the Detector404 service, began to decline.
In total, temporary difficulties with accessing the sites lasted about an hour.
