Altman believes that GPT-5 was not as bad as some users claimed, and the company will do better next time.
OpenAI launched GPT-5 in early August. After people started expressing their dissatisfaction with the new model, the company allowed paid users to choose between GPT-4o and GPT-5. OpenAI also recently updated the new model to make it “warmer and friendlier.”
The CEO of OpenAI also said that GPT-6 will be bigger and different, but it is not the only product from the company.
For example, OpenAI is testing improvements to voice mode and will allow you to adjust the speed.
The company is also testing a new version of Codex: now it will be possible to automatically check the code for all pull requests.
