Previously, AI was available only to Premium subscribers at a price of $8 per month, TechCrunch reports .
The free version is limited to 10 requests every two hours. The chatbot responds to text queries a little faster than ChatGPT 4o, can generate high-quality images and work with code.
Another important feature of Grok AI is that it has real-time access to the entire database of social network posts, unlike ChatGPT’s language model, which is based on data up to October 2023.
Musk says Grok loves sarcasm and was designed to have «a little humor» in its responses.
You can access Grok AI from the X interface. The tab with the bot is located in the left block under messages. The free version of the chatbot is being rolled out gradually and may take several weeks.
