Every time a Grok user clicks the “share” button in a chatbot conversation, a unique URL is created that the user can use to share the conversation via email, text message, or social media. According to Forbes , these URLs are indexed by search engines like Google, Bing, and DuckDuckGo, which in turn allows anyone to view these conversations online.
The chats published by Grok provide a glimpse into users' most impolite desires: questions about how to hack crypto wallets; dirty chats with a candid AI character; and requests for instructions on how to make methamphetamine.
According to conversations made available by Google, Grok gave users instructions on how to make fentanyl, listed various suicide methods, gave bomb-making tips, and even a detailed plan to assassinate Elon Musk.
Recall that in early August, some public conversations between ChatGPT users accidentally appeared in search results on Google and other search engines.
