Grok-code-fast-1 supports popular programming languages including TypeScript, Python, Java, Rust, C++, and Go. It demonstrates high processing speed, executing dozens of tool calls before the first paragraph of the user’s query is even complete.
Grok-code-fast-1 is available through launch partners including GitHub Copilot and Cursor, and costs $0.20 per 1 million inbound tokens and $1.50 per 1 million outbound tokens, with additional caching at $0.02 per 1 million tokens.
Grok Code Fast 1 is temporarily free. The model has shown high speed and accuracy in operation and is available via the xAI API with Prompt Engineering Guide instructions, and new versions with support for multimodal data and extended context are already in development.
