xAI, founded by Elon Musk, has announced the launch of Grok Business and Grok Enterprise, versions of its Grok AI assistant for team and enterprise use. The new plans are aimed at business users and offer advanced administrative tools, privacy guarantees, and data isolation.
What’s included in Grok Business and Enterprise
Grok Business costs $30 per user per month and is designed for small to medium-sized teams, Venture Beat reports. It includes:
shared access to Grok 3, Grok 4 and Grok 4 Heavy models;
centralized user management;
usage analytics;
integration with Google Drive taking into account file access rights;
answers with source links and quote previews.
Grok Enterprise (price not publicly disclosed) is designed for large organizations and adds:
Single Sign-On (SSO) support;
directory synchronization (SCIM);
domain verification;
role model access;
real-time usage monitoring from a single console.
Enterprise Vault and data security
For Grok Enterprise customers, xAI has also introduced the Enterprise Vault add-on, which provides physical and logical isolation from the company’s consumer infrastructure. Vault includes:
dedicated data plane;
application-level encryption;
client-managed encryption keys (CMEK).
xAI states that all Grok pricing plans comply with SOC 2, GDPR, and CCPA requirements, and user data is not used to train models.
The announcement of corporate rates came amid widespread criticism of the public version of Grok. In late 2025, users of X (formerly Twitter) began reporting in droves about the possibility of creating unauthorized AI-generated images, including sexualized manipulations of photos of real women, public figures, and minors.
On January 1, 2026, controversial posts on X under the name Grok regarding the possible creation of prohibited content with images of minors appeared. This caused a public outcry, criticism from human rights organizations, and calls for regulatory intervention in several countries.
The release of Grok Business and Enterprise marks xAI’s entry into the competitive market of corporate AI solutions. For comparison:
ChatGPT Team from OpenAI and Claude Team from Anthropic cost $25 per user per month;
Google Gemini AI tools are included in Google Workspace packages, which start at $14 per month (enterprise prices are not disclosed).
xAI relies on additional data isolation through Vault and Grok’s agent capabilities for working with documents and projects.
