Grok Bot’s autonomous AI agents will leverage third-party backend models to better perform specific user tasks.
This was announced by the company’s founder, Elon Musk, on the social network X (Twitter).
According to the billionaire, to achieve optimal results, the system will integrate leading external APIs. Among them are the Claude Opus 5.5 language model from Anthropic, the Midjourney image generator, the Suno music service, and other specialized solutions.
“In the future, the best backend model will be used for each specific task to ensure the best result,” Elon Musk noted.
Grok Bot is a personal autonomous agent that operates on separate cloud computers 24/7. They are able to independently perform multi-step workflows: log in to work accounts, interact with corporate inboxes and services without configuring complex APIs. To train a bot, it is enough to demonstrate the procedure once.
The tool is available on desktop and iOS for SuperGrok subscribers. Users can run multiple bots simultaneously to handle sales, marketing, accounting, or code testing.
Recall that xAI presented the concept of autonomous Grok Bot agents in August. In September , the company released Grok 4.7 — an AI model for programming and complex tasks that can take hours to complete. In some tests, it is already ahead of Claude Fable 5.1. The basic tariff via API starts at $2 per million input tokens, but for a very long context, the price doubles.
