xAI launches Grok Imagine — AI image and video generator with “spicy mode”
Elon Musk's xAI company has officially introduced Grok Imagine, an AI-powered image and video generator that allows users to create NSFW (not safe/suitable for work) content.
Elon Musk's xAI company has officially introduced Grok Imagine, an AI-powered image and video generator that allows users to create NSFW (not safe/suitable for work) content.
Grok Imagine is available to SuperGrok and Premium+ X subscribers on the iOS app.
It allows users to convert text or graphic prompts into a 15-second video with original audio. It has a "spicy mode" that can generate sexually explicit content, including partial female nudity.

TechCrunch journalists reported that many of the racy queries they tested resulted in “moderated” blurred images, but they did manage to get images of semi-nude bodies.
However, Grok Imagine has limitations, as the model can generate images of celebrities from Donald Trump to Taylor Swift. For example, TechCrunch tried to create an image of a pregnant Trump, but it didn’t work. Instead, Grok Imagine only produced images of Trump holding a baby or standing next to a pregnant woman.
Grok Imagine creates images in seconds from a text query and continues to automatically generate new images as you scroll through the page. These images can then be animated into stylized videos. The user interface is also user-friendly and intuitive.
Musk stated at X that the model "will get better every day."
