Grok 3 Mask has spoken: he flirts, shouts, swears and argues with users
Elon Musk’s xAI company has launched a voice feature in its chatbot Grok3. The voice mode is available through the Grok app and supports only English.
Elon Musk’s xAI company has launched a voice feature in its chatbot Grok3. The voice mode is available through the Grok app and supports only English.
To use the new feature, you need to update the app. Then, a new voice icon should appear next to the «New conversation» button.
The Grok3 voice mode offers up to 10 different modes, including two options marked «18+».
This is an early beta version, so there may be issues. It only works in English and it is unknown when other languages will be available. Requires a Premium+ or SuperGrok subscription.
Reviews in X show that this feature makes Grok3 more human-like in its interactions: the chatbot flirts, argues, shouts, and even swears, which can be heard in the video.

If you ask the chatbot to scream louder, it will let out a 30-second scream. In «sexy mode,» you’ll get a flirtatious, lewd conversation that’s more like a «late-night radio host» than a «helpful robot,» says the AI Tech Toolbox blog.
There’s also a best friend mode that’s crazy, a genius mode that explains quantum physics using pizza metaphors, a romantic mode that’s very awkward at times, and there’s a stoner mode that swears a lot.
Grok 3 was launched on February 18, and two days later it became available to all users.
