LOVESPACE informed its customers about the attack in a newsletter. According to the store, hackers are using the obtained data for phishing attacks to hack Ukrainians' Telegram accounts.
LOVESPACE representatives have already contacted the cyber police. An official investigation into the incident is currently underway. The company asks customers who have received suspicious messages or been added to unknown chats to send links to these resources to help investigators block the attackers.
To secure their accounts, LOVESPACE advises customers to change their privacy settings in Telegram: prohibit additions to groups and channels to unfamiliar users, and ignore any suspicious links.
Background: Ukrainian businesses are regularly targeted by Russian hacking groups. Most attacks are aimed at stealing personal customer data for further phishing mailings, information and psychological operations, or attempts to access financial information.
