«Disappointing indicators of the gambling business In the first half of 2025, revenues from the gambling business amounted to UAH 9.6 billion. According to him, according to the results of June 2025, tax payments from the gambling business «fell» by 37,9%, and amounted to UAH 401 million less. He added that revenues through PROs also decreased — by UAH 434 million compared to the previous month.
«The numbers speak for themselves. Decisive steps are needed for de-shadowing and real control», — says Hetmantsev.
In May of this year, he also warned that April revenues to the budget from the gambling business had significantly decreased. Hetmantsev indicated that the industry paid UAH 0.7 billion — UAH 0.4 billion less than in April 2024 (−31.7%).
It was previously reported that in the first quarter of 2025, the gambling business paid a record amount of taxes. UAH 5.4 billion was received by the budget, which is 20,4% more than in the same period in 2024.
Budget revenues from gambling decreased in April compared to last year. Hetmantsev suggests «fiscal and law enforcement agencies pay attention to the industry»
