Ukrainian defense-tech company General Chereshnya announced the codification of the General Chereshnya OPTIX line of fiber-optic FPV drones.
The company’s press release notes that these drones are already in use in more than 20 combat units, where they demonstrate 82% successful flight ranges in combat conditions. The fiber-optic control channel allows the drones to operate in conditions of active electronic warfare.
«General Chereshnya OPTIX» is available in three basic platforms for FPV drones with frames of 10, 13 and 15 inches. The systems are equipped with fiber optic coils with a range of 15, 20, 25, 30 and 35 kilometers.

«A design feature of the solution is the special treatment of the optical fiber — every millimeter of the fiber is lubricated with a special liquid that prevents the coil from unspooling,» noted General Chereshnya.
OPTIX drones are already available through the Brave1 Market platform and are expected to appear in the DOT-Chain Defence system soon.
Earlier, the Ukrainian company Wild Hornets, which produces drones for the Defense Forces, reported that it had received the Bullet interceptor drone, which is produced by the General Chereshnya company, and considers it a 100% copy of its drone. The General Chereshnya commented on the statement.
