Ukrainian defense-tech company General Chereshnya has developed a new interceptor drone, General Chereshnya AIR Speed. As the company notes, this is a separate development of the General Chereshnya AIR line of interceptor drones.
General Chereshnya AIR Speed is designed as a more compact and faster platform. The drone is built on an 8-inch frame, which allowed for reduced dimensions, increased maneuverability and speed of reaction in the air. According to the declared characteristics, the maximum speed is 236 km/h.
The drone is designed to intercept high-speed and maneuvering air targets, including enemy strike UAVs. The smaller size and higher flight dynamics allow the drone to operate in scenarios where larger interceptors have limitations in inertia and acceleration.
In early December 2025, the company introduced the «General Chereshny AIR Pro.» As the developers explain, the AIR Speed UAV performs other tasks.
«It complements the line of interceptors, expanding the set of tools for countering various types of air threats. The new drone is focused on tasks where speed of approach, sharp maneuvers, and work on small-sized targets are crucial,» the General Chereshnya company noted.
General Chereshnya AIR Speed is now available for orders on the Brave1 platform.
