Ukrainian defense-tech company General Chereshnya and one of the largest European manufacturers of UAVs and equipment ORQA have signed a memorandum officially launching cooperation. The key goal is to fully localize component production in Ukraine and reduce dependence on foreign component supplies.
Ukrainian defense-tech company General Chereshnya and one of the largest European manufacturers of UAVs and equipment ORQA have signed a memorandum officially launching cooperation. The key goal is to fully localize component production in Ukraine and reduce dependence on foreign component supplies.
ORQA is the largest manufacturer of UAVs and components in Europe, working with more than 50 countries around the world, including 24 NATO countries. The company manufactures its vehicles entirely without Chinese components.
First of all, the companies are starting to develop large-scale component production in Ukraine. As part of the Build in Ukraine program, it is planned to build an underground factory for the production of various components and peripherals for UAVs.
In addition, joint serial production will be launched in Croatia, where the latest technologies in the drone industry will be developed. The partnership of the companies combines ORQA's deep technological expertise and the unique experience of the Ukrainian manufacturer.
Work on the creation of joint production facilities has already begun. The first products produced by General Chereshnya/ORQA are expected in the near future.
Recall that in March, General Chereshnya announced the creation of a joint venture with the American company Wilcox Industries in the USA.
