This was announced by Danylo Hetmantsev, chairman of the parliamentary committee on finance, tax and customs policy.
For January-May 2025, the amount of VAT paid is about UAH 7 billion (EUR 76.1 million or $85.2 million). This is UAH 1.8 billion more than for the same period in 2023. The volume of taxable services increased by 29.5% compared to the first quarter of last year. The number of companies paying the tax increased to 136.
Among the largest taxpayers: Google, Apple, Meta, Valve, Sony, Netflix, Spotify, Adobe, Etsy, Epic Games, Upwork, Wargaming Group.
Hetmantsev separately noted the income from the OnlyFans platform, which paid $0.8 million to the budget.
Previously, Hetmantsev reported that in 2024, non-residents providing electronic services paid tax of UAH 11.2 billion, which is UAH 3.2 billion more than in 2023.
