Ukrainian miltech startup HIMERA announced the successful completion of the first state order for the Ministry of Defense of a European NATO member country.
"This is an important step in strengthening international partnerships and developing secure battlefield communications systems," the startup said on Facebook. It did not name the EU country, however, because the customer chose to remain anonymous.
As part of the order, HIMERA conducted training for local military and communications units.
According to the startup, its systems were highly praised for their low radio visibility, resistance to electronic warfare, ease of use, long battery life, and adaptability to modern combat conditions.
The company also emphasized that these results can be a confirmation of HIMERA's technological competitiveness and trust from partners.
Recall that in February, HIMERA entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with Quantropi, an expert in quantum-safe technologies.
Also, in the fall of 2024, the Ukrainian startup successfully sold its tactical radios outside of Ukraine for the first time , namely to the US Air Force Research Laboratory.
