Ukrainian HIMERA introduced a new repeater for radio stations with pseudo-random frequency retuning
Ukrainian developer and manufacturer of secure communication systems HIMERA talked about the B1 repeater for expanding mesh/MANET network coverage areas to over 20 km.
Ukrainian developer and manufacturer of secure communication systems HIMERA talked about the B1 repeater for expanding mesh/MANET network coverage areas to over 20 km.
The company reported that many departments are already actively using B1 in their work.
«In the northern direction, a 20+ km network was built using repeaters, which provided units in extreme positions with stable communication. And one of the units, using five B1s, managed to provide coverage for 80% of the territory of one of the regional centers of Ukraine», HIMERA noted.
The company reported that the purpose of HIMERA B1 is to expand the coverage area of the mesh/MANET network and ensure communication stability.
The repeater has a symmetric AES-256 block encryption algorithm and pseudo-random frequency reconfiguration, which makes it difficult to intercept, detect, and suppress PEP/EW traffic. The device is designed for 14 days of autonomous operation.
