HIMERA has entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with quantum-safe technology expert Quantropi

Ukrainian developer and manufacturer of tactical communications systems HIMERA has joined forces with Quantropi, a company developing the most innovative technologies for quantum-secure data protection. This collaboration will allow integrating post-quantum encryption into the communications system and bringing tactical radios to new defense markets.

HIMERA and Quantropi Inc. have announced an exclusive partnership to integrate quantum-protected solutions into G1 PRO tactical radios, R1 repeaters, B1 autonomous repeaters and E1 internet extenders. As part of the agreement, Quantropi is the exclusive distributor of HIMERA products in the United States and Canada with the right to promote in selected NATO and allied markets. This partnership opens up new opportunities for secure and reliable communications on the modern battlefield.

HIMERA tactical radios, tested in the hottest defensive and offensive operations in Ukraine, are designed for global defense forces. All tactical communication system products are equipped with AES-256 encryption, MESH/MANET and PPRC technologies to counter electronic warfare. Through the integration of Quantropi's QiSpace™ platform , the HIMERA system will be complemented by quantum-safe encryption technology and high-entropy quantum random number generation. This will significantly enhance cryptographic protection, resistance to electronic warfare, interception and jamming.

“Partnering with HIMERA allows us to combine our quantum-protected cryptographic capabilities with one of the most proven tactical radios on the market,” said James Nguyen, co-founder and CEO of Quantropi. “This collaboration is a perfect fit for Quantropi’s mission to protect global digital communications, including our increased focus on ensuring secure military communications.”

Strategic importance

“The HIMERA G1 PRO can fill a critical gap for NATO member states – an EW-resistant, quantum-protected radio at an extremely competitive price,” comments Misha Rudominsky, co-founder of HIMERA. “With Quantropi’s QiSpace™ technology, we are raising the bar in electronic warfare protection, ensuring the safety and effectiveness of communications on the battlefield. In addition, this technology will provide governments and defense organizations in Ukraine and around the world with a promising solution for protecting against emerging quantum threats.”

This partnership underscores HIMERA’s commitment to the highest level of communication security and Quantropi’s focus on implementing quantum-secure dual-purpose solutions. Defense organizations and NATO members are actively working to strengthen their tactical communication systems using quantum technologies. As part of its participation in NATO’s DIANA program, Quantropi will collaborate with HIMERA to test these quantum-secure radios in NATO environments.
