The SME Fund is a financial initiative launched by the European Commission in cooperation with the EUIPO (European Intellectual Property Office). In 2025, the fund continues its work by offering small and medium-sized companies from the EU and Ukraine grant support for the registration of trademarks, industrial designs and patents. This gives companies the opportunity not only to protect their innovations, but also to strengthen their competitive advantage in the market.
The amount of compensation depends on the number of declared classes of goods and services (types of activity).
The program is valid for: legal entities and individual entrepreneurs registered in Ukraine and in EU countries.
During the program’s existence , the Patent Agency «Profitmark» has been able to obtain more than 300 grants for companies from Ukraine. Here are some reviews from entrepreneurs who have already taken advantage of the grant program:
