«Sometimes it seems that we are all stuck in an absurd black comedy, shot by a director who clearly confused the script with a circus program. Here, at the same time, there is a heroic blockbuster, a cheap farce, a clownery, and a porn with corruption in the lead role, and all this in a series called „Ukraine-2025“», wrote the founder of TAF Industries.
He talked about several «episodes» that made him think about leaving Ukraine.
«One SBU department is pulling me out of a Russian assassination attempt, and another — the same letters on the epaulettes — is sewing a case against me together with corrupt police officers and prosecutors, just to, quote directly, „bleed out“», claims Oleksandr Yakovenko.
The head of TAF Industries also said that he had undergone meticulous checks by European financial institutions and Scandinavian governments, which then signed contracts with the company, but the Ukrainian tax authorities still had questions. He added that he had been forced to justify himself to the Europeans at the ReBuild Ukraine event in Warsaw after the corruption scandal with Energoatom erupted in Ukraine. Yakovenko assured his partners that this was an isolated case, although he understood that this was a «scheme worth billions.»
«I made a decision in 2022 to stay and not retreat — that’s why I will still fight against both internal and external enemies. But as soon as the war is over and the first civilian flight from Boryspil takes to the sky, I will be on board,» wrote the founder of TAF Industries.
Oleksandr Yakovenko added that he plans to take with him «knowledge, experience, contacts, people, reputation.»
«I will take everything I was able to save and multiply it where the rules of the game are the same for everyone, where the state protects, not robs. Ukraine will remain in me forever: in memories, in brotherhood, in experience that no move will erase. But I will not live here. Not because I hate it, but because I deserve peace and basic justice, which this country cannot give,» said the head of TAF Industries.
Last year, Oleksandr Yakovenko shared the opinion that Russia managed not only to undermine the unity of Ukrainians, but also to force them to look for enemies among their own.
