This was stated by Deputy Defense Minister Valery Churkin. According to the official, since the beginning of the year, more than 400 new weapons and military equipment of Ukrainian production have been codified.
Among the samples of OMV that were codified in April 2025, the following weapons predominate: unmanned aerial systems, ammunition for them, electronic warfare equipment, and automobiles. Ukrainian weapons manufacturers have also produced and tested many communication devices and ground robotic systems. More than 85% of new weapons are domestically produced.
Since the beginning of the year, more than 40 samples of fiber-optic-controlled unmanned aircraft systems have been approved for operation in the Defense Forces.
"What we have in our arsenal today is not enough. We must respond to challenges faster, invest more in technological weapons. We must strengthen each GPO as much as possible with unmanned systems," said Deputy Defense Minister Valery Churkin.

The Ministry of Defense has also implemented the standards of the State Quality Assurance of Defense Products, developed in accordance with NATO standards.
