The first round of the Indie Cup Ukraine'24 development indie game festival has begun. How can you vote for your favorite game of Ukrainian developers?
In the third annual festival of games from Ukrainian indie developers, which have not yet been released, 64 games from Ukrainian independent developers are participating. Among them, 33 games have free demos.
You can familiarize yourself with the projects on the Indie Cup Ukraine website. Each game has its own profile, which presents trailers, screenshots and a description of the project.
The jury included 77 experts from Ukraine and the world, including representatives of CD Projekt RED, Remedy Entertainment, Bloober Team, Ripple Effect Studios, etc.
Participating games compete for victory in four nominations of the competition:
Winners in nominations will receive rewards, and all other participants will receive feedback from the jury. In addition, potential investors and publishers cooperate with the Indie Cup, who can pay attention to the projects of the developers. Participants of the Indie Cup Ukraine'24 will also receive an invitation to the Ukrainian Games Festival 2025 on Steam, which the GTP Media team is conducting as part of the Ukrainian Games initiative.
Upcoming Indie Cup events. All participants of Indie Cup Ukraine'24 will be able to participate in the next Indie Cup sale on Steam, as well as in our other events on other platforms.
The first round of evaluation will be held from November 14 to December 1. The nominees of Indie Cup Ukraine'24 will be announced on December 4, 2024.
The GTP Media team announced the start of accepting applications for Indie Cup Ukraine'24 at the beginning of October.
Indie Cup is a charity online festival of indie games in development and one of the main European events for independent developers. Founded by the Ukrainian company GTP Media in 2016, Indie Cup has received more than 2,400 participating games, including dozens of projects that have achieved commercial and critical success.
In 2024, the team organized Indie Cup Europe'24 — the biggest season of the festival in its entire existence, which gathered more than 450 projects from all over Europe. Also, Indie Cup regularly holds special sales on Steam and other platforms — for example, Indie Cup Celebration or Ukrainian Games Festival.
