Ukrainian SaaS startup Uspacy has successfully closed a pre-seed round of financing totaling €420,000. The round was led by Estonian fund Startup Wise Guys with an investment of €250,000; several Ukrainian business angels also joined. How is the company evaluated?
As reported by Uspacy, more than 170,000 euros were raised in the form of grants from Google for Startups, Seeds of Bravery, Glovo Startup Lab, and the Ukrainian Startup Fund with the support of UMAEF.
Uspacy noted that at the time of closing the round, the company’s valuation was EUR 5 million. The raised funding is planned to be used for further product development and active marketing expansion, primarily in Ukraine and Poland.
«We are building Uspacy for teams that seek process streamlining, transparency, and productivity. Our focus is on small and medium-sized businesses that have already realized the need to organize work processes. We are convinced that we can give them more than separate corporate systems and global products that are not focused on local markets,» said Uspacy co-founder and CEO Dmitry Suslov.
The head of the Ministry of Digital Affairs, Mykhailo Fedorov, noted that Uspacy became one of the three winners of the joint program with Glovo, receiving an internship at Glovo HQ in Barcelona and a grant of €10,000.
«We support young Ukrainian companies in the early stages — and they are already actively attracting venture capital funds,» Fedorov added.
The company was established in April 2022 in Kyiv and immediately became a resident of «Diya.City». Uspacy was founded by Dmitry Suslov, Kyrylo Melnychuk, Spartak Polishchuk, and Volodymyr Pimakhov, who had many years of experience in creating, promoting, and implementing comprehensive business management products.
The first version of Uspacy was introduced in February 2023. During the first years, the team developed the product without attracting external funding, focusing on creating key features, validating market needs, and building a partner network.
