The IT Arena conference in Warsaw, which was supposed to take place in May, is postponed.
Tickets have been unavailable on the conference website for several weeks. Support cited a technical glitch in the system, and finally an official communication appeared on the Facebook page .
«IT Arena Warsaw has been postponed to 2027. We are combining all the networking, inspiration and innovation planned for Warsaw into one flagship event in Lviv this fall — don’t miss it live!», the message says.
As specified, funds for tickets already purchased will be fully refunded (minus payment system fees) within 120 days.
As a reminder, an internal conflict erupted in Lviv IT Cluster, one of the largest IT clusters in Ukraine, earlier this year. According to the Supervisory Board, Lviv IT Cluster CEO Stepan Veselovskyi transferred ownership rights to key trademarks to his deputy Yuriy Ogonovskyi without consent.
In the spring of 2025, the Lviv Cluster of Information Technologies and Business Services Association began transferring the rights to brands such as IT Arena, IT Research, IT Research Salary Report, and IT Meets to Ogonovsky.
Another point of tension was the organization of the IT Arena Warsaw 2026 conference. The event was announced on behalf of the Polish company TIXFORM SP. Z OO, which is managed by Ogonovsky. The supervisory board claims that the announcement took place without prior approval, although the very fact of holding the event abroad is supported there as an «ambitious goal.»
