In 2024, Sigma Software lost to Genesis as the best employer. Ukrainian IT professionals believe that service companies have better working conditions, but product companies have more interesting projects. How have the leaders of the ranking of the best IT employers changed since 2017?
DOU has compiled a traditional ranking of the best IT employers in 2024. For this, over the past year, 16,000 IT professionals rated 1,138 companies where they work based on 5 criteria: compensation, working conditions, project, career, and loyalty. The winners were determined in 4 categories, depending on the number of employees: "over 1,500 specialists", "800–1,500 specialists", "200–800 specialists", and "81–200 specialists".
Genesis was the best among the largest companies. Last year's leader, Sigma Software, came in second place with a minimal margin. Intellias took 3rd place.
If we talk about the rating for past years, Intellias has been in the top three since 2017. Genesis has been in the top three since 2018. Sigma Software has not always been in the TOP 3, but it has also been in the top five employers since 2017.
N-iX has been in the ranking for the last 6 years, starting in 2018, and most often the company was in 4th place. ZONE3000 has been in the TOP-5 since 2022.
SKELAR takes 1st place in its category. Last year, the company was in second place.
This is followed by last year's leader ALLSTARSIT, followed immediately by SQUAD. These two companies are included in the ranking starting in 2021.
The top three are Digis, Solidgate, and Computools.
Digis entered the leaders for the first time. Solidgate entered the leaders for the first time in 2022. Computools has been in the ranking the longest — since 2020.
Quarks and United Tech also entered the ranking for the first time.
Among the leading companies with scores over 99: Empat, inVerita, and Linkup Studio.
Empat is in the ranking for the second time: in 2022, the company was in second position.
inVerita was in first place in 2023, but lost to Empat in 2024.
Linkup Studio has been in the ranking for three years in a row. But TRIONIKA has made it into the TOP-5 the most times — 6 times: in 2023, the company was in first place, but in 2024 it dropped to 5th position.
Service companies received high marks for working conditions, loyalty and employee prospects.
Product companies received high scores for innovation, interesting projects, and team support.
In total, the winning companies in the rating have offices in 16 Ukrainian cities.
