The head of "Return Alive" noted in an interview with the YouTube channel PRESSING that Ukraine already has several drones that visually resemble the Iranian model, but may differ in quality and cost.
"Making the Shahed is like making an iPhone. We can take apart an iPhone, right? Why can't we make an iPhone? Why can't we make a BMW? There are many things we can't do, unfortunately," Chmut explained.
He also compared the approach to drone production in Ukraine and Russia. According to him, in the Russian Federation there is only one analogue of the "Shahed", while in Ukraine there are dozens of manufacturers and more than 20 different types of drones. Chmut called this situation a zoo and noted that this is both an advantage and a disadvantage.
Meanwhile, the enemy increasingly began to use jet-powered "shaheeds" as a response to the introduction of interceptor drones by the Ukrainian Air Force.
