«Now everyone is afraid of Shaheds and missile strikes. But Shaheds and missiles strike at specific coordinates. There is something much more dangerous — thousands of drones over cities in constant hunting mode. This is what will become our reality in 2026,» Berlinskaya wrote in her Telegram channel.
According to her, these drones will fly not only to cities close to the front, such as Sumy, Dnipro, or Kharkiv, but also to distant Lviv and Chernivtsi.
«What is already happening with Kherson and Kostyantynivka, despite the fact that there are still drones on radio control or fiber optics. Now I’m talking about level up — full or partial autonomy,» the head of Victory Drones noted.
Berlinska believes that this can be countered by «automatic turrets, anti-aircraft drones, electromagnetic and laser means, and nets,» but they need to be «tested, optimal configurations sought, and used in a complex.» She called on government officials to protect Ukrainian cities with such means.
«Thousands of killer drones that will hunt people around the clock are no longer a matter of decades. It’s a matter of literally months. I understand that this sounds like a fantastic horror movie. But this is our reality, in my opinion, already in the next year, 2026,» wrote Maria Berlinska.
In her opinion, if no measures are taken, the residents of Kyiv, Zaporizhia, and Dnipro will soon have to «live on the run and in basements» due to the constant hunting of Russian drones. She stated that her words were not «bullshit and panic,» and recalled that she has been involved in military technology for over 11 years.
«You can take any of my interviews, articles and show what exactly didn’t come true. I don’t have the gift of clairvoyance. But I do have professional experience and a reputation,» Berlinska said.
Recall that in the spring of 2025, the Unmanned Systems Forces presented the work of the Ukrainian laser complex «Trident». It can destroy enemy strike bombs, cruise and ballistic missiles at a distance of up to 3 km, while «Trident» can destroy helicopters, airplanes and reconnaissance drones at a distance of up to 5 km.
